Our Story

VQ (“Vino Quarantino”) was born in April 2020 as a way to keep using our Sommelier brains, to support independent wine importers, and to get well-curated juice to the people stuck at home. We offer mixed packs of hand-picked wines from around the world, sourced from Toronto’s best importers. These import companies represent almost exclusively small, family-owned wineries and wines that are not available on the shelves of the local government-run retail store. Education and inclusion are a big part of what we want to do. Each package comes with full information on producers, grapes, regions and food pairings. Everyone deserves to have access to great wine, and to feel included in the wine world. Cheers!
